The 11th annual New York State Legislative Forum will take place on Tuesday, March 4, 2008.

Take this opportunity to join New York State education professionals to make our voice heard in Albany. The forum will provide a chance to impact the future of education and higher education in New York.

  • Meet with your representatives
  • Voice your support for Higher Education and K-12
  • Different tracks based on level of experience
  • Special track for students
  • Buses pick up from, and return to, New York City
  • Distinguished keynote speaker
    • This is an extremely significant year for education and policy. Gov. Spitzer has announced his intention to adopt many of the recommendations of his Commission on Higher Education, which is the state’s most expansive higher education initiative in decades.

    There promises to be important opportunities and challenges in the education field with the state budget deadline on April 1. We can advocate for implementation of the Commission’s recommendations as well as more state funding for K-12. More details and registration information will follow.
