NYSACAC is working to:

  1. Support a state budget that will guarantee full funding for student aid programs and exp and access to higher education for our state’s students

  2. Maintain appropriate funding levels for K-12 and higher education

  3. Guarantee that elementary, middle and secondary schools have certified school counselors

  4. Continue to support programs and practices (including affirmative action) and any legislative initiatives that promote diversity and provide academic opportunities for all
