Job Summary:
Prep for Prep, the nation’s premiere leadership development program for young people of color, seeks a College Counselor to join our dynamic, collaborative college counseling team.
Responsibilities:
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have at least one to three years of experience in selective college admissions or in a college counseling office and will appreciate the value of an independent school education. Excellent counseling, organization and writing skills, as well as a strong work ethic, are required. Candidates must demonstrate an ability to work effectively with diverse constituencies, be comfortable with public speaking, and possess a familiarity with technology, including Microsoft Office applications and Naviance. A willingness to be immersed in the Prep for Prep community, experience with financial aid, and fluency in Spanish are highly valued. Salary is commensurate with experience.
