Job Summary:
Niagara University, a private Catholic university sponsored by the Vincentian Community, seeks an Admissions Counselor or Assistant Director of Admissions (determined by experience) who is responsible for the coordination, development and execution of undergraduate recruitment and the planning.
Responsibilities:
They will be responsible for recruiting and managing a specified territory. Interviewing students and working extensively with the administrative system (EMAS) will also be expected. This full-time position reports to the Director of Admissions.
• Conducts daily interviews
• Work with student guides and tour program.
• Counsels students and families on application process;
• Makes follow-up contacts to prospective students;
• Arranges the appropriate travel schedule for the territory assigned;
• Represents Niagara University at college information programs for freshman and transfers;
• Performs other duties assigned by the Director of Admissions.
Qualifications:
1) Bachelor’s degree in related field required.
2) A minimum of three years experience with college admissions experience.
3) Valid driver’s license required. License must meet insurance company rules and regulations for driving underwriting criteria.
