NYSACAC Seedling Program
Early exposure to higher education is key to college enrollment - particularly for low income and first generation students. The Seedling Program of the New York State Association for College Admission Counseling (NYSACAC) seeks to increase early awareness of higher education across New York State.
The Seedling Program provides students from 7th to 10th grade an opportunity to visit college campuses across New York State. During their visit, students will receive a tour of the host campus, attend an information session focusing on the benefits of the college experience and enjoy a campus meal in the college dining hall. The Seedling Program experiences are subsidized and organized by NYSACAC. Past experiences have been hosted by: Brooklyn College (CUNY), Hofstra University, Marist College, and The Sage Colleges.
If your college, middle school or high school is interested in participating in a Seedling Program experience, please contact the CBO & Opportunity Programs Co-Chairs at: [email protected]
