2017 NYSACAC Long Island College Tour

Sunday, March 26th - Wednesday, March 29th

School counselors are invited to join us for the NYSACAC Long Island College Tour as we explore six colleges in three days throughout Long Island, New York. The institutions you will visit are as diverse as the landscape— offering a wide variety of options for higher education.

You will spend time on each campus meeting faculty, staff, and students, and learning about each institution’s unique programs and attributes. Each day is brimming with college tours, tasty meals, and hospitality as you travel throughout “Long Island” with 30 other counselors and your NYSACAC hosts from participating institutions. It is sure to be a fun and worthwhile four days, and we sincerely hope you’ll consider joining us!

Queens College (CUNY)

St. John's University

SUNY Stony Brook


The NYSACAC Long Island College Tour registration fee of $300.00 will provide:

  • Hotel accommodations for 3 nights. Double occupancy, single occupancy is available for an additional cost.
  • Two meals provided each day.
  • A Welcome Happy Hour with college reps from each participating institution and your NYSACAC Hosts

Participants are responsible for the cost of transportation to and from Long Island, along with ground transportation to and from the host hotel. Most meals will be provided by the colleges during the visits.

This program is limited to 30 participants, so make sure to register early! We will be unable to honor any refund requests due to the limited number of participants.  Click here to register for the tour or for more information.

**Please note that this tour is only open to School Counselors who serve at public or private/independent high schools outside of the New York City area, and only one counselor per school will be allowed on the tour due to space**
