Job Summary:
Skidmore College, a selective liberal arts college of 2300 men and women located in historic Saratoga Springs, NY, invites applications for the position of Associate Director for Admissions Operations. We seek a person, preferably with a Bachelor’s degree, who demonstrates energy, thoughtfulness, enthusiasm, integrity, humor, and a strong identification with the values of a liberal arts college. Strong managerial, organizational, and interpersonal skills are essential. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to supervise personnel and admissions operations, to work independently, yet seek and appreciate the benefits of colleagueship derived from working on a team of admissions professionals.

Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will have the ability to manage multiple responsibilities and be adept at using new technology. Responsibilities include managing the daily operations of support and student staff in a very busy admissions office, overseeing the processing of inquiries, mailings, and over 7000 annual applications, validating and approving support staff and student hours. Opportunity for some traditional admissions responsibilities (conducting group presentations, interviewing, and travel) also included. Experience in college admissions and information management preferred.
