Charge
The charge of the Development Committee involves leadership at the state level for the maintenance and enhancement of NYSACAC’s “Fund for the 21st Century.” The Committee Chair for Development reports to the Vice President for Finance and is solely responsible for fundraising efforts related to the Association’s efforts to establish and maintain its “Fund for the 21st Century.” The term of office for the Development Committee Chair is three years.
Responsibilities of the Chair/Co-Chairs
- Develop strategies for creating an endowment for the Association.
- Determine the funding priorities.
- Maintain a liaison with NACAC’s Fund Development Board.
- Report regularly to the Executive Board through the Vice President for Finance.
- Appoint members and organize committee activities effectively.
- Maintain effective communication with committee members.
- Reach out to other State and Regional development committees and investigate their activities.
